Welcome to the Morgantown Public Library

Winter Story Times

You are invited to join us at the Morgantown Public Library for six weeks of story times. The story times will begin on Tuesday, February 10 and end on Wednesday, March 18.

STORY TIME SESSIONS

Tuesdays

  • 10:00-10:30 2-3 yr. olds
  • 11:30-12:00 2-5 yr. olds

Wednesdays

  • 10:00-10:30 2-4 yr. olds

For the 2 and 3 year-old session, the children must have a parent or caregiver with them.

You must be registered to attend the sessions.

Parents may reister their children at the circulation desk or by calling the library at 291-7425.

Space is limited.

Location: Arnettsville Community Center

If school is CANCELLED due to weather and road conditions, Story Time will be CANCELLED too.

Thursday March 26: COMPOSTING 101: Make Organic Waste Work for you!

Composting is an easy way to put your everyday household vegetable wste to work for you in the garden and keep it out of your trash.Your garden and city will thank you!

Sandra Cress of the Sierra Club will demonstrate basics, answer all questions, and let you get your hands in the soil, demonstrating techniques and delving into less usual approaches, including worm bins. Bring a pair of garden gloves.

Come join man's best friend for a night of fun four-legged literacy!

Saturday, March 28th 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Reading Sessions are approximately 15 min. Children must be in kindergarten or older.

Therapy dogs and owners have completed Kennel Club classes and are members of Therapy Dogs Inc. Only readers, dogs and owners will be allowed in room.

Children must be registered to attend the sessions.
