Oak Park Exhibit
Few local residents realize that 100 years ago this area boasted an amusement park complete with roller coaster, Ferris wheel, merry-go-rounds, and much, much more. The Aull Center for Local History and Genealogy Research, with assistance from volunteer James Shaver, has prepared a display board and notebook filled with photos and personal recollections of the park, which operated from 1909-1933 near Masontown. Stop in and see the exhibit at the Aull Center, located on Spruce Street next door to the public library.
